I never knew any of my grandparents but I have one image (Thank you MOM!) of my grandfather holding me. We are inside his home in Scotland. He's got me balanced on his hip and looking at me. He has such a huge smile on his face. It may only be a small 3x3 print but I can see the love he had for me. More importantly, I can FEEL it. That one photograph means the world to me. It is utterly priceless to me.  I honestly believe that this one image has guided my path as a photographer. What if I could provide this treasure for someone? Real moments, real laugher, real emotion. What if one picture could provoke such intense feelings for someone else?
