Paul Foslien is the founding pastor who started Living Word Family Church in 1998. Since then, the church has continued to grow and is known in the community for creatively impacting the people of Southwest Florida through “I Love My Community” outreach events and disaster relief efforts. Pastor Paul’s life in ministry started as a young man wishing to answer the call God placed on his life by attending RHEMA Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he studied under great men and women of God. After Bible school, Paul, Maria, and their children moved to Belarus in the early 1990s where they were missionaries and started a church that continues today. Maria Foslien’s life in ministry began in 1986 serving at Living Word Christian Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There, she studied and grew and now oversees the music ministry here at Living Word Family Church. God has an incredible purpose for your life, and the Growth Track is designed to help you connect with that purpose. On the Growth Track, you will spend four Sundays diving into what it looks like to follow Jesus, connect to the church, discover your purpose and then make a difference in your life. This program is your avenue to become a member of Living Word Family Church and to get ready to join one of our many volunteer teams. The Growth Track is comprised of four specifically designed classes – with one happening every weekend during our third service. Each class helps you take a step towards God’s plan of fulfillment for your life. Classes are defined as “steps”, with each step happening during the corresponding weekend every month. For example, Step 1 happens every first Sunday of the month, Step 2 every second and so on. Once all four steps are completed you are ready to join one of our many volunteer teams here at Living Word Family Church. This class will give you a basic introduction to the story, beliefs, and structure of Living Word Family Church as well as a guide for how you can get connected and join the church. Step One takes place on the first Sunday of every month Building as well as in the Youth Room for 6th-12th graders, and we will provide donuts, coffee and bottled water in this class for your enjoyment. Living Word Family Church Living Word Family Church is a Bible-believing church. We believe God has revealed Himself through the Scriptures, and the Scriptures are to be taught using sound doctrine. We emphasize every portion of Scripture, the birth, life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the mission of the body of believers, and the ministering work of the Holy Spirit in the world today.
