The founding Pastor, Rick Thompson and his wife Deborah, had a dream of starting a church that would reach the people in Broward, and the surrounding Counties, for Jesus Christ.  With that dream in mind, Pastor Rick stepped out in faith and trusted God to provide people and resources.  God did not disappoint. After meeting in Pastor Rick’s home for several months, Living Water Community Church officially launched as a church on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2002.  We began meeting in the cafeteria of Plantation Park Elementary, and then watched as God miraculously provided a permanent place of worship for us on November 9th , 2003.  Each week we have a front row seat in witnessing the wonderful ways in which God changes the hearts and lives of those who come.  We have seen broken hearts healed, marriages restored and many lives changed, to God be the Glory.  His Love and Presence remains on us. At Living Water Community Church our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. Together, we’re striving to become the kind of church in the Bible, where there is relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need.
