The Living Legends of Auto Racing, Inc. (LLOAR) was established in 1993 with the mission to recognize, honor, and promote the pioneers of beach racing and stock car racing. Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, LLOAR operates as a 501-C-3 non-profit organization composed entirely of volunteers. With over 600 members globally, the organization engages in various activities throughout the year and publishes a quarterly newsletter titled 'The Cannonball.' LLOAR oversees the Living Legends of Auto Racing Museum of Racing History located in South Daytona, Florida, which offers free admission to visitors interested in the history of automobile racing. Additionally, LLOAR co-sponsors the Living Legends of Auto Racing Memorial Brick Walk of Fame with the City of Daytona Beach Shores. This walk features inscribed bricks that honor key figures and pioneers in auto racing. The organization also provides educational programs about the history of automobile racing on Volusia County beaches to schools and organizations at no cost.
