After spending years traveling on the road, Andy neglected his diet and physical activity. He woke up on his 43 birthday and said to himself, “I don’t want to turn 50 and feel like I’m 60” so he decided to change everything he was doing for the past 30 years. One year later he lost 40 pounds, going from 210 to 170lbs. Now 47, Andy is using his personal journey and his education to motivate individuals to embrace good health. In addition to his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University, Andy is a Corporate Health and Wellness Association Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist (CCWS) and Certified Corporate Nutrition Professional (CCNP). At age 25, Alyssa took control of her life by learning to eat better and exercise. She became an ACE Personal Trainer at Equinox. She’s certified in Post Rehabilitation, Pre Natal/Post Partum, women in menopause and the older adult. In 2002, Alyssa moved back to Florida where she built a successful private training business. Carlos is a South Florida native with 15 years of experience in technology. He is one of Livewell 1440’s original employee participants and one of its recent success stories. In 2014 when founder Andy Seiden met Carlos – he was morbidly obese and suffered from various health risks and illness. In February of 2017 Carlos underwent bariatric surgery, and undertook a moderate regiment of cardiovascular and resistance based training. Since then, Carlos has gone through a complete mind, body, and spirit transformation and is now on a path to a longer and healthier lifestyle. Carlos joined the team in hopes of creating a state-of-the-art infrastructure – powered by technology, that would help Livewell1440 reach many more like himself. Carlos has built several multi-million dollar ecommerce platforms in his career and now brings those skills and talents to Livewell 1440’s team of rising stars. Samantha grew up in South Florida spending holidays and weekends with her large extended family. She is the third of three children in her family. It was during these family moments that she discovered her passion for singing, and helping others improve their health. At the age of 5, her mother forced her to perform the Titanic theme song at a family dinner. Samantha thanks her mom every day because that’s all it took to get her hooked-on Opera singing. Samantha has performed in over 15 different languages and continues to sing in her local choir. Along with her singing and her natural understanding of medicine, she decided to author and publish 6 different medical books. Her passion for helping others brought Samantha to work for a Miami based insurance company where she started coordinating and planning corporate wellness initiatives. It was there that Samantha honed her client relation and event planning skills. In 2016, Samantha met Andy Seiden, CEO of LiveWell 1440 Corporate Wellness. She loved what Andy was doing so much, that she decided to join the company in November 2017. Samantha loves circuit training and spinning class with her friends.
