Little Room Works is a small, family-owned business devoted to original and classic wood and paper products. LRW items are one-of-a-kind or small batch. Jonathan designs and builds the fine woodworking in our shop. We employ a green approach and use collected shavings from our wood products to make recycled paper, which we use in several of our stationery, Twice-baked Book, and literary accessory products. As an extension of our wood and paper line of products, we also offer a geek-chic 'pop scarf' and art collection. On our site, you'll mostly find our smaller products suitable for gifts and easy for shipping, but we also build larger furniture products and offer workshop and consulting services in person and online. Little Room Works is an exact blend of Jonathan & Deidre Price: fine woodworking and writerly things. Jonathan spends his days in the woods and in the workshop, inspired by nature and returning to build furniture and housewares. The shavings get turned into wood pulp to be made into paper, some of which is sold looseleaf and the rest is stitched into journals and handmade books put together at Little Room. Jonathan & Deidre's interests and passions permeate everything Little Room Works creates. Jonathan's love of American history is reflected in his Early-American-inspired furniture and Modern-American furniture designs, and their joint love of literature has resulted in several products designed especially with readers and writers in mind. Both Jonathan & Deidre offer trunk shows, workshops, classes, and consulting services related to their individual expertises. With years of experience in sound, production, and amp & pedal design and building, Jonathan offers consulting services in this area and is also available for individual lessons and group demonstrations and workshops for furniture building and general woodworking. Deidre, a professional writer, editor, and educator, offers writing, editing, and creative services through Little Room Works. With more than ten years of experience teaching in online and hybrid environments, Deidre also offers online ed consulting services through Little Room Works.
