Founded in July 2008, Little Linksters Golf, LLC is dedicated to introducing young children, specifically those aged 3-8 years, to the game of golf through its eponymous program. The initiative was established by PGA Professional Brendon Elliott, formerly the General Manager and Head Golf Professional at Winter Park Country Club in Florida. After resigning from his long-term position at WPCC in July 2011, Brendon, alongside Melisa Elliott and Ricardo Ajr Collado, focused on expanding Little Linksters. The program operates from its home office in Deltona, FL, featuring fun, interactive golf instruction methods tailored to young beginners. Little Linkster's offerings include a mix of traditional instructions with unconventional learning avenues, ensuring an engaging experience for all participants. In 2011, the company opened the Little Linksters Golf Academy at Metrowest Golf Club in Orlando, which later relocated to Wekiva Golf Club in Longwood, FL, aligning with Elliott’s role at the Golf Academy of America campus in Apopka. The business comprises two main entities: Little Linksters, LLC (for profit) and the 501c3 nonprofit Little Linksters Association for Junior Golf Development. The latter supports outreach programs that extend the program's mission statewide. Through various classes and camps, their goal is to foster growth in the game among young enthusiasts. Brendon Elliott has been a pivotal figure throughout the company’s history, earning recognition as one of the industry’s leading voices in junior golf. His accolades include several awards from US Kids Golf and distinctions from the National Federation of PGA Professionals, showcasing his dedication and impact on developing youth golf initiatives.
