Thank you for allowing us to introduce you to "Little House of Music". Little House of Music is a product designed for teaching music to children ages 4-7 years old. It is a well-known fact that children of this age are anxious to learn. In fact, experts in education agree that children who learn music at an early age and to be more successful than students who don't. I created Little House of Music due to an increase in demand for a teacher who would teach young children. It’s very often that private teachers won’t take on any child of preschool age. I wanted to give an opportunity for children to start even earlier in their musical careers. I also wanted to create a method of learning that is fun for the children and keeps them entertained all while learning each step of the way! Little House of Music Little House of Music was developed to make sure all children have the opportunity to learn and enjoy music. Little House of Music is a new and unique methodology for teaching music theory to young children in a way that is not only fun but helps create in them a love and appreciation of music. Little House of Music One of the outstanding benefits of the methodology is that no specialized musical training is needed to aid your child in this unique program. All that is necessary is your enthusiasm. At the conclusion of the three levels the student has the solid music foundation necessary to successfully take up any musical instrument and is in a better position to make an informed decision. The program develops a child's love and appreciation for music. It also helps the child's self esteem and confidence grow. The program teaches valuable life lessons including; ethics, creativity, mistakes are a part of life, tolerance and drug avoidance. Mission of Little House of Music The Little House of Music family is dedicated to providing quality music education at an affordable price. We feel that every child deserves the right and privilege of learning the joys that music can bring. At the age of sixteen he launched my teaching career by requesting that I take over the beginner student's class. A later project that involved teaching groups of three and four year olds prompted the development of Little House of Music. about Interest & Opportunity of our main product. What Is Little House of Music? Little House of Music is a home, a fantasy where children learn music and the only supplies they need are their hugs, teeth for smiling and their bellybutton. The hugs and teeth are easy to understand but the bellybutton means if you line it up with middle "C" you can play any song our world has ever been blessed with. Little House of Music is all about love for music. Little House of Music sets the environment where every musical symbol becomes a part of the happy family. Little House of Music not only teaches children music, Little House of Music teaches children to love music. Out of our 5 senses children use 3 of them in Little House of Music. Seeing, hearing and touch. Touch should be called feel because music is filled with feelings. Little House of Music builds self-esteem in children, entertains children, teaches self-awareness, self respect, values and most importantly respect for others. Little House of Music is so overly exaggerated that students learn and don't even realize they are learning. Little House of music is fun, and music should be fun. Our students never practice the piano, they play the piano. There are thousands of different styles and sounds in music. In our musical home, Little House of Music children's ears hear bagpipes, accordions, rain sticks, harps, didgeridoos, saxophones, children also are introduced to different styles of music such as jazz, classical, marches, Celtic, opera and mood music to name just a few. Little House of music prepares a child to play the instrument of their choice in the first three levels or 30 lessons. Although we encourage our students to continue with the piano because it is the only instrument that continues to teach both clefs, dynamics, appreciation and music theory. Students are taught the importance of listening to Mozart while doing homework or studying. Little House of Music helps prepare our students for formal education. We encourage students to speak or sing into a microphone by having show-time at the end of each class. In Little House of Music the children appreciate our free music concerts every morning. Our bird ensemble entertains us every morning until our world gets noisy. In Little House of Music children learn that it is OK to be shy, to cry, and to make a mistake and to never to say can't. "Little House of Music" is one such idea. Conceived several years ago, probably on some sunny day while weeding. "Little House of Music" has grown (forgive the pun), through lots of trail and error into the teaching course it is today. By being taught in such an ideal environment and by being taught in terms which are completely familiar to the children, much which is the basis of "Little House of Music."
