LINET Americas was founded in 2010 and is part of LINET Group SE, a leading global supplier of hospital beds. The company’s success is based on innovations that help improve the standards of healthcare in more than 100 countries worldwide. LINET Group employs over 800 employees in two manufacturing locations and several subsidiaries and partners around the world. Our diverse portfolio of products includes solutions designed for acute care, post-acute care and home care. LINET Americas currently focuses on acute care patient room furnishings, but will soon expand our presence into adjacent markets. LINET Americas is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and provides sales and service to over 500 customers across the United States and Canada. With more than 15,000 beds installed coast-to-coast, it is LINET Americas’ goal to help improve the cost and quality of healthcare by providing practical solutions to our customers. The start of LINET consisted of one simple investment, equivalent to $10,000, which was used to purchase an abandoned farmhouse. The farmhouse, which remains part of the LINET manufacturing facility today, was converted into a hospital bed production plant. Each year, LINET has reinvested earnings from the company to expand its operational footprint, totaling over 330,000 square feet today. The focus and spirit of LINET product development is to truly innovate – to create an object of desire for our customers and ultimately our patients. We offer something above and beyond the status quo. Mr. Frolík saw the value of gaining customer input when thinking through each design decision. Market research and first-hand customer feedback continue to drive key decisions. Caregivers and hospital staff are consulted regularly for what they need to do their job effectively and safely. Product improvements are incorporated directly from their countless hours of experience. In 2010, LINET made the decision to expand to the United States. The American headquarters opened in Charlotte, North Carolina under the leadership of Colin Bain, President and CEO. Mr. Bain has taken the time to develop a dynamic team and strong culture, transferring Mr. Frolik’s personal enthusiasm for the company and establishing a vision for the future in the United States. Here at LINET Americas, as we celebrate 6 years in the USA, we see caregivers and hospital staff reacting very positively toward our presence and the option for a better way to provide patient care. Our customers welcome the opportunity to evaluate something new, different and that positively impacts patient care – without burdening their already tight budgets.
