Lighthouse Dragons, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in Jupiter, Florida, dedicated to promoting the physical and psychological well-being of breast cancer survivors through dragon boating. Established on January 19, 2017, as Palm Beach County's first and only breast cancer survivor dragon boat team, Lighthouse Dragons SOS aims to foster a healthy, active lifestyle among breast cancer survivors and their supporters by offering organized opportunities for physical fitness, wellness education, and psycho-social empowerment. The team is composed of individuals ranging from the 30s to the 70s, united by a common experience with breast cancer. Through training and competition in dragon boating, members demonstrate that women can lead fulfilling lives post-treatment. Beyond sports, Lighthouse Dragons serves as a community that emphasizes living rather than focusing solely on disease. The organization invites supporters to make tax-deductible contributions, which enable participants to engage in life-affirming activities. With Sandra Bolin as Team Director, John T Butler serving as Director, and Heidi Kirk as President, they have collectively enriched numerous lives since the last recorded amendment event on April 2, 2021.
