Since early adulthood Colleen has had a passion for wellness and helping others reach their goals. She has an advanced degree in health education and is a certified Wellness Coach and Cognitive Fitness Facilitator. She was introduced to Zumba several years ago and fell in love with the format, people, fun and optimism! She followed her passion and instincts and became a licensed instructor in fall of 2013 in both Zumba Basic and Zumba Toning. She has completed online courses in Zumba Core, Zumba Glutes, and Zumba Bursts. Colleen has recently added licenses as an instructor for Zumba Gold, Zumba Gold Toning, Strong by Zumba, and Plate by Zumba. In addition to LifeStyle Wellness Studios, she teaches Zumba classes at Thelma Boltin Center (City of Gainesville) and Anytime Fitness-Alachua as well as a Zumba Toning class for Gainesville High School teachers and staff. Colleen is also certified as a Red Warrior Instructor and by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in group exercise.
