Our Mission We are committed to inspiring the public to save lives through organ donation. To make organ transplant a reality, LifeLink Foundation focuses its attention in a number of areas. In 1995, LifeLink Foundation established the Endowment for Giving as a separate 501(c)3 in support of the Foundation’s mission. Since 1998, the Endowment for Giving has been known as LifeLink Legacy Fund and focused its efforts on helping transplant patients facing short-term financial needs. In collaboration with transplant centers throughout LifeLink Foundation’s three organ recovery service areas, the Legacy Fund supports transplant patients through financial assistance programs. LifeLink Legacy Fund also funds research and other initiatives that positively impact organ donation and the transplant community. Through the generosity of our community, LifeLink Legacy Fund has provided more than two million dollars to fulfill its mission of support.
