We create innovative, end-to-end web solutions for EAPs. We also specialize in engaging, leading-edge self-help resources. Life Advantages developed a proprietary Learning Management System (LMS) in 2005. We have served over 150 unique training courses to more than 100K end users since its launch. We currently offer 64 off-the-shelf, soft-skills training courses on our LMS, as well as custom trainings built just for clients. We are also happy to announce a robust expansion of the Training Center that will include more than 100 new training titles. We offer live monthly webinars with field experts that include a 45 minute talk and a 15-minute, moderated question and answer session. Our experts speak on topics ranging from emotional intelligence to estate planning. All of the speakers in our stable are experts in their respective fields and seasoned presenters. All of the talks are recorded and archived for users to view on-demand at any time (along with downloadable materials from the presenter). Our webinar series has helped many clients increase utilization and we are proud of the consistently great feedback we receive from attendees. Who We Are Founded in 2000, Life Advantages is an innovative technology company that has partnered with more than 70 EAPs in the last 15 years to create unique, customized solutions. We currently provide our products to more than 30K employer groups, covering more than 7 million lives. We are a small, but mighty, team of innovators with decades of experience in the EAP industry. Alma designs and enhances training courses, adding interactivity and media to make training into an engaging experience. After over five years working in Higher Education, she’s excited to not have Finals Week looming in the air. A self-professed techie, she is frequently outnumbered by computers or cameras or tablets! A new transplant to Florida, she may say she doesn’t miss the snow - but we don’t know for sure. When she’s not making media or deciding what trainings should look like, she is knitting, gardening, dancing or consuming media (hey, it’s research!) Delvina, otherwise known as Dr. D, spends her days reading, researching and creating new products that take research-based concepts and transform them into engaging, easily digestible tools and skills that will teach people to live more resilient lives! Her extensive training in education and psychology (human development, educational leadership, and positive psychology) places her at the forefront of promoting resilience and wellbeing. Before having the privilege to work at Life Advantages, Delvina worked for the Department of Psychiatry at Children’s Hospital, Boston. Delvina likes to refer to herself as a lifelong academic but others usually just call her crazy. She has earned her B.S., Ed.M, and Ph.D., and she is a Certified Positive Psychology Practitioner and Coach, with more to come! When she’s not researching or creating tools to educate, she is most likely savoring every laugh, snuggle and tantrum with her two adorable toddler boys, out for a run, or enjoying a peaceful dinner (+ wine) with her husband once the boys are asleep. Elaine most recently served as a Senior Account Executive for a leading national employee assistance program with a diverse clientele of Fortune 100 corporations, universities, law firms, hospitals and healthcare organizations. She efficiently implemented a training department by integrating data systems and branding transition across five company acquisitions. Ms. Tragni applies a strong customer service and solutions-focused orientation to her management role, and consistently provides prompt and competent responses to her colleagues and clients. She is pleased to apply that skill set in her new role as The Explorer (aka the COO) of WorkLife Training Institute. Eric wears many hats for the company, shifting roles between providing creative direction and program management for in-house projects to offering ideation, communication support and project oversight for clients. Closing in on 20 years of working exclusively in the online realm (having survived the grim, frame-happy landscape of the dot.bomb era), his childhood dreams of living in a cyberpunk future are nearly achieved. When not running operations from his remote location in the Atlanta Sprawl, he spends his time slinging sentences and pushing pixels to craft imaginary worlds. Erin works on making everything around here sound good and look good, and enjoys peering through her creative and editorial lenses equally. She brings nearly 20 years of work in communications to the group (more than half of which have been spent at Life Advantages). She loves working in downtown St. Petersburg, just a few miles from where she grew up (though the city is a lot different, and a lot more interesting, these days). When she isn't working, she likes picking up the Legos her toddler leaves everywhere, cooking, and learning to be a silversmith. Josh had successful forays as an installation technician and field services manager before deciding to revisit an early penchant for coding. Prior to graduating last year, he convinced Life Advantages to hire him from 3,000 miles away. Subsequently, the same week he started his new career he moved his wife, Ana, and his sweet toddler, Jax, across the country. This year, he and Ana welcomed their second son, Sam, into their lives. When Josh isn’t putting his new skills to work at the office, he’s stealing power naps anywhere he can.
