Who we are, What we do Lidar Lounge comprises of a professional and friendly team specialising in 3D scanning in the UK and USA. We use the latest terrestrial laser scanning technology and photogrammetry to analyse real-world objects and environments, providing detailed digital models and data for film and tv, architecture and design, virtual reality, augmented reality, gaming, consumer products, forensics, archaeology, real estate, 3D printing and much more. We pride ourselves in the quality and accuracy of our work, our flexibility and dependability. We are used to working within a budget and time scale and through using the appropriate technology, we can process and deliver in a matter of days. We are able to capture and create highly realistic 3D textured models of characters and animals using our camera rigs. No matter what the subject, be it a superhero or a horse, we have the equipment and experience to deliver what your after. We are able to provide highly detailed scans of all kinds of vehicles (both internally and externally) ranging from cars, trucks, trains, helicopters, planes, even the most innovative custom builds... .including the batmobile! Using a variation of Lidar and photogrammetry, we are able to capture any type of object/prop with unparalleled realism. To date we have captured items of all types of scale and complexity ranging from the smallest coin to the Parthenon sculptures. In addition to Lidar and photogrammetry, we can provide texture photography to enable the highest possible level of colour and texture detail. Using high end DSLR's we can capture high resolution images in either single shot or HDR format. We are also able to provide 360˚ photography using roundshots and HDRI rigs.
