The Foundation’s greatest strength is the visionary passion of its founder, as reflected by the success of Our eight “Thanksgiving Bashes” which have being attended by over four thousand Sweetwater residents, FIU President Mark B. Rosenberg, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz, Past Sweetwater Mayor Jose Diaz, Miami-Dade County Public Schools Board Member Martha Perez and Congressman Carlos Curbelo, and State Representative Carlos Trujillo. Mr. Rodriguez has the ability to engage key community leaders as advocates of the Foundation’s mission, leading to the success of the Foundation in such a short period of time and being able to expand its capability to positively impacting the well being of the Sweetwater community.
