As with each of the other domains (land, sea, air, and space) participants began developing both offensive and defensive strategies and technology-based assets in an attempt to gain an advantage or protect themselves from their adversaries. LGS Innovations helps to address the threat to our customers’ networks through network assurance, network analysis, advanced communication systems, next-generation cyber, core network architecture analysis, core element analysis, and defensive protocol analysis. LGS Innovations analyzes mission needs to design, engineer, deploy, and manage sophisticated terrestrial, wireless, and satellite networking solutions to enable C2 missions. Our use of custom components as well as commercial off the shelf (COTS) technologies helps our customer with the most effective solution while staying on task and on budget. LGS solutions help to detect the presence of chemical and biological material through the use spectroscopic systems with multi-band lasers that illuminate a target area and measure the absorption of specific wavelengths of light. LGS systems compare that absorption against patterns known to be associated with specific molecules and, by process of elimination, accurately identify the presence of those molecules from a stand-off distance. LGS researches and analyzes communications systems to identify areas of vulnerability and the attack vectors that may be used to exploit them, and then provide customers with mitigation strategies. LGS studies every aspect of the integrated systems that are utilized in C3 missions (from source and compiled binary code to integrated circuits, wired/wireless interfaces, communications protocols, networks/architectures, and other system elements) to identify which attack vectors may be employed to exploit each vulnerability and how to best mitigate the risk associated with each.
