The roots of LeVine Construction Group, LLC began when founder Josh LeVine began working for his father’s custom millwork shop as a 12-year old child. As an apprentice to a professional perfectionist, Josh worked for his father designing and building custom residential cabinetry for bedroom, home office, and entertainment spaces. His interest in designing and building living spaces continued through high school, where he became active in architecture courses and focused on extracurricular home design projects. Josh attended the University of Miami to study architecture and business management. After college, Josh worked for a small general contracting firm in DC as a Project Manager working on various projects ranging from $20K to $1 million in value. With an urge to grow his knowledge, Josh joined national general contractor Coakley Williams Construction to try his project management hand in larger base building projects. He spent 6 years working with Coakley on several large projects and, at 23 years old, opened LeVine Construction Group Limited, the earliest phase of what LCG is today. LCG Limited began as a handyman service firm, but quickly grew with Maryland’s local housing construction market into a residential construction firm specializing in kitchen, basement, living space and addition design, construction and remodeling. Josh’s interiors performance rapidly gained notice, and he was picked up by rand* construction corporation, a growing commercial tenant interiors firm based in DC, where he had a successful career spanning over 8 years.  Josh started at rand* as a project manager and quickly was advanced to a senior project manager, overseeing operations on many large-scale, complex commercial interior projects for various clients. His expertise and skill graduated him to a Managing Director role, in which he managed projects and interfaced with clients at an executive level. Josh helped in growing the company from a $150M small tenant interiors firm to a national commercial contractor with annual revenues of over $300M. His knowledge of the industry and ability to partner with his clients retained lots of big business for rand*, and he was able to train many of the firm’s employees resulting in exponential growth.  But what Josh really enjoyed about his time in the construction industry as a whole was assisting in the design process as well as working closely with the subcontract community to make the design a reality. As he and his family remained residents in his Maryland neighborhood, Josh took notice to a gaping hole in the local residential construction market. He got tired of hearing his friends, family and acquaintances talk about their remodeling projects taking too long and going over budget and in most cases, the root cause was poor communication by the general contractor/architect they were working with.  Josh has now re-entered the market with LeVine Construction Group, LLC and utilizes his years of experience in project management and knowledge of the field and industry to deliver superior service to his client base.
