Hi there! My name is Leslie Graham. This is my personal blog. Best of all, I specialize in helping you find innovative ways to share your story. If you’re willing, I’d love to show you how to: I help people of destiny become dreamers AND doers. Leslie Graham Life is less than perfect. We each want to live life as we’ve designed it to be. Too often, however, a relationship is suffering somewhere in our life because it is hard to be the person you need to be in order to have a perfect marriage, amazing children, and extended family and friends who are happy with you every moment of every day. It’s so easy to constantly feel as though we are failing someone we love–including God. helping you take care of you, and to connect you with the resources and tools to easily and swiftly lead you into a life of meaning and significance Most consider me to be strong, direct, and no-nonsense, but there is a deep love underneath it all. I believe I can “give it to you straight” while still being kind and I can love while still living truth. In an age where political correctness reigns supreme over common sense, you will find me to be refreshingly authentic and a little old fashioned. I temper that with encouragement and a dose of fun to create a balance of truth and love. If you are looking for someone who will be real with you without tearing you down, and if you like to have fun, help others, and live the excellent life — you’re in the right place! While still a young nurse, my four year old son was diagnosed with brain cancer. I was devastated and in the midst of that journey I realized that the thing I had so heavily believed in (medicine) failed me. So the pendulum swung fully to the opposite side as I forged into alternative health care. Sure, it’s the popular thing to do today, but twenty years ago my actions were considered bordering on insane. Eventually, I realized that too was not the place to put all of my faith when my fourth child was diagnosed with Insulin Dependent Diabetes at the age of 9 months. We had no family history of diabetes and I was doing everything right — pure, organic, healthy living; quarts of green drink every day. Yet, my breast fed, organic baby food only infant still ended up with diabetes. After years of achievements in nursing, frustrated and unfulfilled, I went back to school and became a teacher — A business education teacher! (big smile) My family jokingly insists that I have an unnatural desire to learn, and if I told you the number of college credits I have you would certainly agree. If you’re interested in initials, then R.N. (Registered Nurse), BTE-ED (Bachelor of Business and Technology Education) and M.Ed. (Master of Education in Instructional Technology) are a few that follow my name. I have been a nurse for 24 years and I’m now working on specializing in Faith Community Nursing. Like you, it is important to me to make a difference in the world and I can think of no better way to do that than to help you (and others like you) to make a difference too. The best part of having all of this knowledge and experience is that I am able to share it with you! I am honored that you are here and I aim to help you excel at all to which you put your heart and hands. I’m not sure if we can fine tune that enough to help you find your keys. And it probably can’t compete with Apple’s find my iphone app. But, it brings some interesting things to mind, doesn’t it? Have you noticed that a lot of us look around at what everyone else is doing and decide that must be the very best, because everyone is doing it? I’ve seen a lot of that in business. We look around and see all of our friends making videos and think, “I’ve got to do that too!” No more chasing what everyone else is doing. Listen to that still, small voice inside and follow that instead.
