LeRoy David is a Florida-based clothing company consisting of music inspired apparel. It was co-founded in 2007 by graphic designer Sam L. Jenkins and deejay/producer Brett D. Bishop. Their first collection, "Music is Life", was originally created just to give local Sarasota deejays fashionable T-shirts to wear. Many of the designs in this collection were inspired by tattoo culture as evident in their top selling "Skull Tattoo" T-shirt. Their second collection, "Check One, Check Two", is a T-shirt campaign to help raise awareness for breast cancer prevention. Like LeRoy David's "Music is Life" collection, all designs have a music inspired theme. The only difference is that these specially designed T-shirts have a "Pink" twist which relates to breast cancer awareness. Currently with each T-shirt purchased, all net proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society to help fund cancer research. "Soulful Beings" is LeRoy David's second philanthropic collection and consists of animal themed T-shirts and posters. LeRoy David plans on using Soulful Beings as an avenue to benefit animal charities, both locally and nationally. Currently with each T-shirt purchased from this collection, all net proceeds are donated to Farm Sanctuary, North America's largest and most effective farm animal rescue and protection organization.
