The personnel qualifications of Leak Location Services, Inc. are unmatched in the world. Six LLSI leak location personnel have at least eight years of experience and have surveyed more than 9,000,000 square feet of geomembrane in the last three years. LLSI field personnel have received safety training for OSHA HAZWOPER, OSHA Construction Safety and Health, OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach, confined space entry, First Aid, CPR, and MSHA work at surface mines. Mr. Kemnitz is the President of Leak Location Services, Inc. He handles the day to day operations and scheduling of field crews for leak location surveys. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas. Mr. Kemnitz has completed his EIT certification and graduate course work towards an MS in Civil Engineering. Mr. Ortiz is the Safety Manager and a Senior Project Manager at Leak Location Services, Inc. Since beginning his career with LLSI in 2008, John has acquired strong proficiencies in multiple aspects of our business. Since joining LLSI, Mr. Ortiz has personally surveyed over 23 million square feet of geomembrane liner; he has also installed Electrical Leak Imaging and Monitoring Systems (ELIM) as well as performed ELIM System data collections and surveys. Additionally, John has assumed the leadership role of Safety Manager for LLSI and is responsible for all OSHA compliances, safety plans and meetings for the company. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a BA in Psychology from the Universities of Phoenix and Texas at San Antonio, respectively. Prior to his position with LLSI Dale helped to develop commercial services firms both as a co-owner and entrepreneur, one of which is listed in the 1995 edition of the Inc. 500. The greatest portion of his experience lies in client retention and development as well as operational efficiency. As Client Relations Officer, Dale is sensitive to the needs and concerns of LLSI's clients in regard to timeliness of service and problem solving. Martin Morales is a Senior Staff Technician for field applications of the geoelectric leak location method and is the Shop Manager supervising construction and repair of specialized LLSI leak location equipment. Martin began performing leak location services in 1998. His overall experience includes leading crews for about 365 leak location projects which have included liners for liquid impoundments, storage tanks, landfills, leach pads, and landfill caps, and was the on-site supervisor for the installation of four permanent leak monitoring systems. Edgar Barraza is a Senior Field Technician with LLSI and has been with the company since 2002. He has extensive experience in multiple leak location survey types; projects with earth materials, water covering the geomembrane, and bare liner. Having led more than 280 projects overall, Mr. Barraza led or worked on 18 leak location projects in 2013 alone, and almost 16 million square feet over a 3 year period. Mr. Barraza has an Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from Hallmark Institute. With LLSI since 2015, James Haynes is a Field Technician and has a BA in Business Management from Whitworth University. He has training in higher-level leadership and heavy aircraft maintenance in the Air Force where he was responsible for training new employees for preflight services. He joined LLSI in 2015 and has performed 21 geomembrane leak location surveys for a total area of 7,243,000 square feet. Of this area 5,583,000 square feet of geomembrane was surveyed using the soil survey method.
