Our mission is to provide students with the resources they need to advance in school and ultimately, in life. Today’s job market has a much different landscape than it had ten years ago. The rapid acceleration of technology and the emergence of a global marketplace requires tomorrow’s workforce and business leaders to be educated to record-high levels. Shockingly, many schools are graduating students that are 3 to 4 years behind their grade level. College and university entrance requirements are increasing and competition for admission, scholarships, and grants has never been higher. At Leading & Learning, our mission is to provide students with the resources they need to advance in school and ultimately, in life. We do not advertise for tutoring positions and only hire tutors personally recommended to us by trusted sources. We hire only the best tutors and match them to each child’s particular area of study and personality. We provide parents with progress reports each time your child is tutored. Leading and Learning reaches beyond traditional tutoring and test prep and offers individualized educational consulting. Dr. Shane will help guide your child through the college and university selection and application process. Additionally, our company’s founder, Dr. Erik Shane, is one of only a handful of published experts in the United States regarding the benefits of boarding and military schools. Erik Shane, Ph.D. has taught in both public and private school settings before dedicating all of his time to Leading and Learning. Dr. Shane was the Dean at La Salle High School in Coconut Grove, FL from 1997-2015. There he built an unparalleled reputation in the community and radically improved the school for the better. During his tenure, enrollment nearly doubled and the school’s climate and reputation blossomed. All of these accomplishments were done through the use of positive energy and strong leadership.
