Lawson Equipment is a family owned manufacturing company.  It is owned and operated by me and my wife, Lawson and Danielle Kline.  I live, eat, breath, and sleep in the outdoors.  I love backpacking, biking, canoeing, camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, kayaking, shooting, snow skiing, surfing, water skiing, and anything else I can do outside and Danielle supports my addictions.   We have two little girls and they love the outdoors just like us.      The business was founded as Mountainfitter in late 2008 with the goal of making custom tents, backpacks, and sleeping bags.  As demand for my cordage and metal products grew, we got away from sewing and changed the business name to Lawson Equipment. And as time has gone on, we have added more and more braiding machines and metal working equipment. Now our company's focus is manufacturing high quality braided rope, cordage and metal hardgear using the best materials and craftsmanship available.   All of our products are proudly made by us, right here in the USA using the best materials on earth.  If we make it, its the best there is.   Most compaines outsource their production to job shops down the street or factories on the other side of the world.  We do not.  We take great pride in making stuff ourselves. Since we do not outsource the production of anything, we are able to have better control over quality and costs. This allows us to make better products and sell them for less money.  If we make it, its the best there is.  As a result, we make alot of custom products for other companies in a whole range of industries.  If I could tell you who some of these compaines are or what the products are used for, I would, but I can't. Lawson Equipment is a small manufacturing business with an extremely loud shop due to all the machinery we use. So to protect our hearing, we wear hearing protection all day.  Which means we do not hear the phone ring.  So rather than have you call and leave a message with our voicemail, we found that email works best.  It lets us reply to a question or concern much faster as we can do it while we work.
