Laura Bird Miller is a fine artist out of Longwood, Florida, a northern suburb of Orlando, Florida. She grew up in Minnesota where she graduated from college with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology with Fine Art. Laura produced many illustrations for scientific publications before settling into teaching art when her children were school age. As her children got older, she started painting en plein air and creating oil paintings of animals, befitting of her love of nature and biology.
