Creative Multimedia Director & International SEO Specialist, Michael brings 19 years of marketing, IT, and digital media experience exclusively within the international education sector. A former ESL teacher and Director of Marketing for one of the U.S.’s largest university ESL programs, Michael holds a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky, a Certification in Web Development through UCSD, and a Certification in Wine Marketing & Viticulture from Santa Rosa Junior College. He enjoys red clay courts, grassy Sauvignon Blancs, ceviche, and urban hikes. Michael avoids winter by splitting his time between Chile, Florida, and California. Web design expert Jason Clemens​ has 22 years experience as web designer (12 of these years as a UX professional​). He graduated from Everett College in Washington with a degree in Fine Arts then completed his Graphic Arts education at the University of California, San Diego. Thanks to his time studying cultural differences in interface design abroad in Tokyo​, Jason brings a multicultural design approach to Lastarria Media. Jason is also a licensed private pilot and in his free time enjoys shooting aerial photography. A San Diego native, Jason now resides in Frisco, Texas. A Mexico City native, Claudia ​received a BA in Graphic Design from SDSU and a Master’s in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, New York. Claudia is a member of AIGA and continues professional development with design conferences, such as the “Y” Design Conference and Adobe MAX. Claudia’s nearly 20 years of experience in graphic design has focused on branding and design for corporate and educational sectors, including community colleges, private schools and government agencies. Claudia enjoys gardening and cooking and recently provided her services pro-bono for Voices for Children, a non-profit helping foster children. She resides in San Diego.
