Dr. Francisco J. Somoza attended Miami Dade College where he earned his Associates in Arts degree and graduated with honors in 1990. Upon completion, Dr. Somoza transferred to Florida International University, where he worked towards his bachelor degree in Biology. Before receiving this degree, he was accepted at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry because of his good grades and achievements. Dr. Somoza received his D.D.S. degree in 1995. He passed the state dental boards in Ohio and Florida, and began treating patients when Las Americas Dental Care opened its door in 1996. Dr. Somoza worked as well with his father, now retired dentist, in an office in Hialeah until such practice was sold in 2003. Since then Dr. Somoza has been taking continuing education courses to keep updated and be able to serve his patients better.
