Company Principal Cornelis Lanson, a successful businessman and former CEO of a software company that he sold in 2007, has been managing his own personal investments and those of family and friends for more than 30 years. He was so effective and prosperous that he decided to partner with a business associate and friend to form Lanson Advisors in 2010. Lanson is well traveled and a citizen in three countries. He is well versed in international markets helping his clients take advantage of unique opportunities as they arise. Mark Purdom joined Lanson Advisors in January 2013. He holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of Kentucky and has 12 years prior experience in the financial industry. During that time, Purdom worked as an IT manager with a regional Broker/Dealer, developing software to facilitate the trading of professionally managed accounts. He became fascinated with the business, and is now skilled in trading many investment vehicles including options and futures.
