Landlord.com was founded in August of 1995, largely as an adjunct to Landlord Services, Inc., a provider of a variety of services to property management firms and individual landlords in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. In early 1998 the decision was made to spin Landlord.com off as a separate entity, dedicated to providing services to landlords and other real estate professionals on-line. In mid 1998 we began a rather laborious process of surveying our potential audience and implementing the results of the survey.

The crew was formed with the objective of bringing together talented individuals in many areas of expertise.
Landlord.com is a web site that brings together most of the things � we are striving for all of the things � that the typical landlord or property manager will need in order to successfully own and manage his property or portfolio. The core of the site is in the Information Center, Landlord Law, E-Forms Center, Tools and Calculators, Discussion Board, Tip of the Week and Quality Tenant Screening, to name a few. These are the major knowledge resources. The other services are not to be overlooked, however, and we encourage the user to enjoy the whole apple, not just the core. We continue to develop and make available the most comprehensive listings of rental property resources.
