Ken and Melissa Lamb started Lamb Consulting in 2007 in Gainesville, Florida. Ken was completing a post-doctoral appointment in molecular biology in gene therapy for obesity. Melissa was the research coordinator for pediatric critical care while completing her master’s degree in clinical and translational research at the University of Florida. With an extensive background in statistics gained during his doctorate, Ken served as an in-house statistician for his lab and neighboring labs prior to his decision to practice biostatistics as his full time profession. Melissa extensively edited IRB and IACUC protocols and manuscripts for physicians in the division of pediatric critical care and eventually branched out to assist physicians, fellows, residents, and primary investigators in neighboring departments at the University of Florida. Lamb Consulting is prepared to help you from the inception of a project to the completion of the manuscript. We are here to assist you with the statistical, writing, and editing portions of your study. We recognize the importance of ensuring that a study is handled in a fluid fashion.
