The idea of Crystal Lake Marine, Inc., the parent company of Lake Marine & RV Inc. , of Woodstock, IL was conceived in August of 2009 in a small garage in West Chicago where we repaired and sold boats we had restored. Shortly after that in, March of 2012, Dave Piersall decided to leave the corporate sales world and be his own full time boss and founded Crystal Lake Marine Inc. The new business location at 8611 Huntley Rd in Crystal Lake was a small 2,700 sf pole barn with no heat or AC — a very humble beginning. Due to massive growth, we outgrew the shop in less than a year and decided to move to a 6,000 sf shop in Crystal Lake, located at 7510 Virginia Rd, where the company grew to even greater heights. In April of 2017 once again company growth had spiked and we found ourselves busting out of the seams again. For some time we had been renting part of the old Harley Davidson site to store boats and RV’s in Woodstock. With a lot of work Dave moved the company to its new home at 2050 S Eastwood, and we have been experiencing massive growth and new opportunity ever since. Lake Marine & RV also offers storage for your boat or RV! We have a 7 acre outdoor storage yard, a 44,000 sq. ft. indoor heated facility, and a 6,000 sq. ft. indoor cold storage facility. Don’t trust your boat or RV to some pole barn in a farmer’s field! Keep it safe in our secure, clean concrete floor storage facilities!
