It all started with a young man in early 1997 who entered the workforce after college, only to find out that climbing the "corporate ladder" wasn't all he had hoped it would be. So, in 1998, he decided to give the family business a shot. His father, Stuart Laake Sr., had purchased the insurance division of the Home Shopping Network two years earlier, and now had a successful insurance and financial services business. This young man, Stuart Laake Jr., soon realized his love for helping others was a great fit for this industry. In 2006, his sister, Amber Laake, moved back home from Atlanta to join the family agency, and together, the family has been engrained in the insurance services business for over 30 years. Over the years, the family business has grown significantly buy offering a wide array of personal and business products to their thousands of client relationships. Stuart knew that he was a natural born planner, so several years ago, he decided to focus solely on his strengths, so thus began Laake L&A. As the owner of Laake L&A, Stuart's passion for planning and helping others is what motivates him and his team to go the extra mile. "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care" is the creed he lives by.
