L&M was founded in 1964 by Joe McGee. Joe grew up on a small family farm located in Johnston County, North Carolina. His parents taught him the value of a hard day’s work and strong relationships. After more than five decades, we are still well grounded in the same principles; we work hard – with respect, passion, leadership and excellence – and always with unyielding integrity. Helping our customers succeed It’s worth repeating that we are passionate about our produce. Getting the right product to you at the right time is a goal that drives every member of the L&M team. Understanding your needs is important to us and knowing what it takes to get the job done is our expertise. In the end, we can’t promise perfection, that’s just not something you can guarantee in this business (we are relying on the weather after all), but we do promise persistence. You can rest assured that we’re going to do everything we can to bring you the very best fresh produce. We are proud of where our produce is grown, and the people who grow it. At L&M Moultrie you’ll find a wide variety of premium vegetables. We grow peppers, squash, broccoli, cabbage and greens in the spring and fall. With the addition of our sweet potato farms, we’re in production year-round.
