Over the years the call letters changed a couple of times and then the station went off the air for two years in the late '60s.  The call letters were changed to 89.7 KSGN in 1979.  For a time, branding on the radio station corresponded with the call letters using the words – Keep Sharing the Good News. https://www.ksgn.com/about/statement-of-faith Good News Radio is a ministry helping to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ.  Christ's commission to us is: to proclaim the Gospel and to teach all things He has commanded us.  Therefore, both an evangelistic and an educational thrust are part of the broadcast ministry of Good News Radio. https://www.ksgn.com/about/coverage-map As far as the whole realm of radio, that opportunity was literally dropped in my lap. My friend, Betsy, who was a Nursing major had a really great voice so she was doing commercials for the radio station on campus (the CDR Radio Network).
