David Coppa, the CEO of Konover South, continues family tradition by representing the third generation of private ownership. He is responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the organization, driving growth and fostering its corporate culture. Born and raised in and around the family business in West Hartford, Connecticut, David began his career at affiliate Konover Hotel where he excelled for several years. Upon relocation to Florida in 1997, David worked in the banking industry for numerous years, then rejoined the family business serving in the company’s retail asset management department, and later, as Vice President of Development and Acquisitions. He assumed his role as CEO of Konover South in 2010. An expert dealmaker, David is extraordinarily skilled at evaluating and optimizing development and acquisition opportunities. David additionally serves on the board of The Simon Konover Company.
