Our names are Indra Bakshi and Vijay Wadehra. We are a brother and sister team that hopes to bring the vibrant colors from our childhood in India to a modern Western market! Between the two of us, we have over 15 years of experiences dealing with the retail clothing business. Vijay has 10+ years of working retail from collaborating with distributors to marketing high-end fragrance in his own store. Indra has 5+ years of working with manufacturers and distributors as she has helped bring Indian fabrics and clothing to America. Our concept began back in July 2016 and we became formally incorporated in January 2017. Over these short months we have flown back and forth to India several times to meet with fabric manufacturers and our production team. By having direct access to the product in all stages of production, we are able to ensure that our designs are both beautiful and of top-quality once they transfer into our customers’ hands. By going directly to the source in India, we are able to have a wider range of options when choosing our materials. We are able to select the best fabric to fit the style and design. Our fabric options include cotton, silk, chiffon crepe, georgette, rayon, and several others. We are hoping to expand our business to target traveling women in the USA and Caribbean islands to help them look and feel their best while soaking up the sun. We are currently producing mostly resort wear and beach cover-ups, but we will be expanding to evening wear designs in the future.
