Phil Lake has worked in the life safety, security and controls industries for 30 years, incrementally increasing his responsibilities and opportunities. For the past 12 years, Phil has served as the President at Knight Security Systems. Before Knight, he led efforts at Honeywell, Chubb Security and Siemens—all global firms where he made a significant impact. However, Phil is most proud of his work at Knight, leading and cultivating an environment where each team member has valuable input in the company’s direction. Knight has grown aggressively, fueled by a dedication to service and client satisfaction. Phil holds a Certified General Accountant Degree and studied Industrial Marketing in the University of Toronto Executive Programs. Martin Krohn has 23 years of experience in the fire detection and alarm industry. He knows the industry’s ins and outs; he’s worked in field sales, installation and service. Martin owned Makrowest, Inc. in partnership with Trey West for seven years before selling the startup to Chubb Security. Mark has also worked as a Sales Manager for Chubb Security, as well as a General Manager, District Manager and Regional Director at Siemens Building Technologies. Martin is trained as a Six Sigma Process Improvement Black Belt and has run many process improvement initiatives for Siemens Building Technologies. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Texas A&M University. Mark G. Anderson AAIA, LEED AP, Vice President of the Gulf Region comes with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. His detailed work has fostered client relationships and business development at the highest levels of the healthcare, institutional and government markets nationally and internationally. That same attention to detail has also resulted in improved P&L performance for a variety of large-scale, multi-million dollar projects. He holds an extensive background in Sustainable and Building Automation Integration design and installation, a skill he employs when performing complete building performance evaluations of mechanical, electrical, life safety and security systems.
