The Establishment of Klinch Mode Klinch Mode was established in 2017 by Keno Jenkins for the purpose of creating unity by way of athletics. Keno coined the term "Klinch Mode" to reflect a state of mind one enters when working toward a pre-established goal. This goal could be athletic, fitness, or personal and regardless of the classification of the goal, one is required to be focused on pushing toward their goal and achieving success. When doing this, they are in "Klinch Mode." Klinch Mode offers an array of athletic activities such as basketball leagues, flag football leagues, kickball tournaments, and field day competition. We seek to foster unity through athletics while encouraging healthy competition and team work. Klinch Mode Initiatives Our current initiative is to build a sports complex that will include a gym, a flag football field, a baseball field, and an education center equipped with a computer lab. In the wake of the recent tragedy in Parkland, FL. as well as other acts of violence throughout our country, not only are we committed to providing activities for adults, but also a place where youth can come and feel a sense of belonging and increase their learning. In partnership with our nonprofit organization, Project Klinch Mode, we are working toward building this facility.
