The Company Kinatrax, Inc. was created to bring the beneficial and productive capabilities of next generation markerless motion capture technology out of the academic arena and into the real world. Professional baseball offers the right mix of environment and opportunity in which to begin this incredible mission, and we now have systems operating in several Major League Baseball ballparks. Steven is the principal developer of Kinatrax’s markerless motion capture system. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in computer vision and machine learning from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. Steven has been involved in the development of biometric recognition and markerless motion capture systems for most of his career and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles in these fields. Steven was previously CTO and Co-Founder of Eyeris Technologies, an industry leader in facial analysis for in-vehicle driver monitoring.
