Kidz 4 A Cure was formed as an AIDS walk team in 2002 in honor of Lorrie Cram’s adopted daughter, Kimberly. Kim lost her battle with HIV/AIDS in 2000 at the age of 8. When she lost Kimberly, she thought she could not go on loving children with the risk of losing them. When another of her daughters, Ceyra, died in 2010 we added her picture to the back of our team shirts and continued to walk in honor of those we love, and those we’ve lost. Kidz 4 A Cure incorporated and received nonprofit status in 2015. Our organization works to benefit children in need and those infected or affected with HIV/AIDS.
