Because, after all, the Garden isn’t about website management, it’s about protecting the fragile ecosystems of the Florida Keys. The first Key West Yoga and Wellness Fest was in April 2018 — and they needed a website up and running within three weeks. KeyWestWatch Media built the website, integrated a complex ticket sales program using EventBrite and kept the site updated almost everyday as new sponsors, vendors, partners, presenters and teachers were added — and changes were made on the fly. Good thing we believe in all that yoga inner peace stuff. Key West Yoga Escapes creates luxury yoga retreats that embrace the best of our island culture. In 2016, owner Jennifer Hulse Russo asked KeyWestWatch Media to build the website, integrate a reservations system and e-commerce solutions, and coordinate social media and marketing. We update and maintain the website as business needs change. All that so Key West Yoga Escapes can, well, escape. Chef Callie Morehouse makes great flour-less chocolate cake and the best Key Lime pie ever, but she’d be the first to say that building and maintaining a website is not on her list of fun things. So, KeyWestWatch Media built it for her and taste-tested a few menu samples. Among the private chef services, her cooking and the provisioning she does for island visitors, the last thing Callie needs is to worry about her website. We do that for her. Tree Priorities is a Key West forestry consulting company specializing in project management for utilities and municipalities. Ed Cunningham is an ISA certified arborist and utility specialist with four decades of experience in the US and internationally. When not consulting, he’s a Fort Zach park ranger. He’s the Cat 5 DaDa and my partner. He doesn’t pay for his website. Cunningham is a nationally known discussion and seminar leader in management and leadership training and worked with the American Society of News Editors, the American Press Institute and the Inland Press Association, as well as several state and regional press associations. She served as a Pulitzer judge and twice received a Gannett President’s Ring. Reporting and writing for LGC Says and Key West Island Homes stokes her news junkie and political habits.
