Keshet Studios is the LA-based subsidiary of Keshet International (KI) which oversees all development, production, packaging, promotion and sales of KI’s scripted programming activities in the US. Keshet Studios has access to all existing and future KI scripted formats to adapt for domestic audiences. Additionally, it is charged with developing and producing new scripted content for the US, and creating new scripted formats for the international marketplace via KI. KI is one of the world’s leading suppliers of scripted content to the US. Its internationally renowned format Prisoners of War was adapted to become the Emmy® and Golden Globe® award-winning series Homeland. It also recently co-produced DIG with Universal Cable Productions for USA Network, Your Family or Mine for TBS, and executive produces Tyrant for FX. Keshet Studios is one of several KI outposts worldwide including Keshet UK, Keshet Australia and Keshet DCP, the company’s unscripted US joint venture with dick clark productions. Keshet UK is an independent production company based in London. Established in 2012, it is the first global outpost to appear under the Keshet International banner. It develops, produces and coproduces original scripted and non-scripted programmes for UK and international broadcasters, as well as making local versions of Keshet formats. Keshet UK is committed to working with local talent and broadcasters across a wide range of genres, including Drama, Comedy, Entertainment, Factual Entertainment and Game Shows. Keshet MX is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keshet International (KI) in Mexico City. It is directed by Kelly Wright, Head of Latin America and led on the ground by Frank Scheuermann, Head of Development and Production for Latin America. It was established in January 2017 to expand KI’s local production capabilities in the Latin American and US Hispanic markets. To date, KI has sold close to 1,000 hours of content and established many successful adaptations of its formats across the region. Keshet MX builds on KI’s existing development and production deals, adding new partnerships with broadcasters, platforms and brands, as well as integrating local talent into KI’s unique brand of programming across the region. Its activities cover the US Hispanic market to Colombia, while simultaneously offering development and consulting services throughout Latin America. Keshet International Asia (KIA) was established in October 2015, building on the footprint Keshet International (KI) had already established in the region selling to a wide range of Asian producers and broadcasters and building local partnerships. KIA has bolstered the company’s aim to be further integrated into the vibrant and burgeoning Asian marketplace. With regional headquarters in Hong Kong and a ferocious drive to gain footholds in all the Asian markets – large and small – it is going from expanding rapidly with Head of Asia Gary Pudney at the helm, in consultation with Executive Advisor to the region Kelly Wright (Tel Aviv). Keshet Asia distributes content to and acquires content from the Asian region – KI was the second international company ever to export Chinese IP – as well as identifying strategic production partners for its rich content portfolio. In a matter of months after opening, the team has closed deals for Keshet Digital Studios (KDS) is a global production division of Keshet International (KI) focused on boundary-pushing creative with a millennial focus for primary distribution on digital platforms. KDS develops and produces high quality scripted and unscripted programming based on original IP or formats for a youthful, energetic and fast-moving audience: an audience that exists away from traditional networks. With access to local and international creative talent, KDS tackles bold, unapologetic, smart, contemporary stories and explores innovation in storytelling with emerging technologies, presenting fresh, underrepresented voices to the mainstream. Keshet Films provides an international platform for distinct voices, stories and talent with the goal of producing high quality commercial films. Co-headed by industry veterans Mandy Tagger Brockey and Adi Ezroni, it draws on Keshet Media Group’s extensive content library, as well as its wide network of key players within the film world. In 2017 Keshet International acquired Munich-based production company, Tresor TV Produktions GmbH (Tresor), expanding its production footprint in Europe. Founded in 1992, Tresor has become one of Germany’s most respected independent production companies, known for its flair in producing reality, factual entertainment and variety shows. Specialists in acquiring international IP rights for many years, Tresor has produced successful local versions of the popular formats Sammy joined Keshet in March 2014 and oversees the Company’s UK operation and expansion into Western Europe. Before joining Keshet, Sammy held CEO roles at September Films and DCD Media plc. Away from the office, Sammy can be found mumbling about Bob Dylan, cricket and single malt whisky. He lives in North London with his wife, three children and naughty dog, Ralph.
