My name is Kathleen Conway. After 33 years in corporate America, I left my full time Human Resources position in 2011 to pursue my dream of a home based business. My husband Rick is a retired Area Director for Massachusetts Rehabilitation Agency. We have been together 14 years and between us we have three children. Justin is 33 years old and works for Google. Clare is 29 years old and enjoys working in Medical Billing. James is 27 years old lives in and just graduated from Endicott College after serving 4 years in the Army. They all live in Massachusetts. We have two cats ~ Alva and Kay. We sold our home in Lynnfield, Massachusetts in June 2014 and moved to our home in Wells, Maine for the summer ~ which is the focus of my rental business. In 2015 we bought a condo in Naples, Florida and are making that our permanent residence. I bought my cottage at Beach Dreams in Wells, Maine in 2005. I was the third person to close out of 229 cottages. I looked at everything on paper when I made my decision. The road was not even cut in and it was just a forest. In 2007, I purchased another property at Beach Dreams, a year round Townhouse at the front of the property. I then started to rent my seasonal cottage. I had always thought of having a Bed and Breakfast someday and that is what my cottage became for me. I just loved the whole process of renting and really loved meeting the people and hearing how they enjoyed their vacations so much. I started helping other people rent their cottages and my customers started to grow. After trying a few other home based businesses, my cottage rental business is now my main focus. I have expanded and now have several cottages at Beach Dreams and three cottages at Summer Village in Wells. I also have a house off of Marginal Way that sleeps 10 people. Because I live in Wells in the rental season it is very convenient for my renters should any issues arise or they need my help.
