President & Owner: Kay G Designs, Inc. In 2002 Kay began making hand-made seed bead jewelry creations.  Finding focal beds for her designs proved a challenge; in 2009 she ventured into the art of Flamework (melting glass rods with a surface mix torch), taking many Flamework classes from respected well-known glass artists and began making Flamework beads in her studio.  All her beads are annealed in a digitized kiln for extra durability.  Glass beads will break if dropped on a hard surface so treat these designs with care.   Kay G Designs, Inc.  During college, I fell in love with art.  Much later I realized that I was an artist (`2002); I have been making art since 2002.  Began with seed beading, making jewelry and gemstone jewelry.  When I had trouble finding the 'focal' beads for my designs, I discovered Lampwork (or Flamework) so I could make my own focal beads.  Flameworking is my real passion, along with 3D stained glass (large-format) mosaics.
