About Karen Brown Guides Our mission statement is to provide travelers with recommendations and guides they can rely on and trust. We take great pride in our extensive, personal research and offer what we feel are the very best in terms of where to stay and what to see. Our regional countryside itineraries are a direct result of the literally thousands of miles we covered in order to visit the places we recommend. Our itineraries detail what we consider to be the most scenic and interesting routes when traveling the countryside. Whether you follow our recommendations exactly or use them as a template for personalizing your own route, we sincerely hope our itineraries will serve to help you plan a memorable journey. We began as book publishers and over the years have had as many as twenty titles in the Karen Brown Series. This year, 2015, celebrates thirty-eight years in publishing for Karen Brown Guides. We have just recently transitioned to publishing our recommendations in electronic Format: E-Books and E-Itineraries. Enhanced with color photos; maps that link to interactive maps; internal links facilitate navigation, and external website and email links facilitate direct communication and reservations, we believe our E-Books and E-Itineraries serve as a powerful travel tool and resource.
