Kara Franker is a Florida tourism expert with a background in communication and marketing. She’s also an attorney. She helps destinations (ranging from small towns to big cities), hotels and tourism organizations draw more visitors by identifying and implementing key marketing strategies. Her expertise includes research and strategy development, writing and editing, print publication, photoshoot and video production, social media, search engine optimization, influencer outreach, legal analysis and project management. Before starting her own company in 2012, Kara worked as a criminal prosecutor in Miami. She obtained her juris doctor from the University of Denver College of Law, where she was a staff editor for the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy. Kara graduated with a bachelor of science degree in journalism and strategic communication from the University of Kansas, William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communication.
