Bob Robinson Sr. wanted to name the machine with words that describe wind, water, and power (tornado, hurricane, tsunami, etc.). After investigation of many of these type names at the Trademark Office he found that they were already taken by other equipment manufacturers and decided to create a new name. He gave the project to his two sons, Steve and Bob Jr., with instructions that the name roll off the tongue easy and be different.
