Mark understands the interaction between real estate capital projects and ongoing operations, and was extensively involved with capital and operating planning for the Wilder Foundation and Carleton College. Mark also served as Director of Business & Finance for an international research organization for 2 years and understands day to day operations. Mark has also been involved with capital campaigns, grants, bond financing, cash flow management, energy efficiency, sustainability and has helped facilitate integration between construction and operations. Mark earned Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2001 and has maintained his certification for over 15 years. Mark also has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Sir John Cass Business School in London, United Kingdom, and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota concentrating in management, economic development, and mediation.
