KADO Productions, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and New York KADO Productions Katie Carmichael and Donna Farmer formed KADO Productions in 2012 after working together as a team since 2004. The company combines Katie’s location and producing skills, with Donna’s exceptional accounting skills to get the most production value for every dollar spent. The success of their collaboration is evident in their repeat business from returning clients and the introduction to new clients through recommendations. Katie Carmichael began her movie career 30 years ago in Hollywood, as a production assistant working on commercials. Within a few years, Katie became a location scout and eventually a line producer specializing in remote locations such as Alaska, Grand Canyon, Key West and Lake Powell. In 1995 Katie scouted and lined produced her first movie for Filmauro titled, A Spasso nel Tempo directed by Carlo Vanzina , and released in 1996 Directed by Carlo Vanzina for Filmauro Fillms In 2004, Katie began her longstanding relationship with Donna Farmer, on Natale a Miami, for Filmauro, when Donna was hired as the production accountant. Since then they have worked together on movies for Carlo Vanzina, Luigi DeLaurentiis, Massimo Boldi and Marco Gianonni. Donna Farmer has been a production accountant for 20 years. She has worked from Rio to New York and Miami to San Francisco and almost everywhere in between. She is just as comfortable doing a picture for the major studios as she is doing Bollywood. Some of the recent projects she has worked on include Ender's Game, A Million Ways To Die In The West, Miami Ink, Nai Stati Uniti, and Stand by Me.
