JUPITER COUNSELING LLC, JUPITER,

La Via Detox and Behavioral Health’s mission is to create a safe and well educated treatment facility to address addiction and mental health issues for our patients. At La Via we will concentrate on the physical and emotional well-being of the individual, and the impact addiction has had on the addict and their family member. La Via’s IOP provides addiction education, group and individual counseling. Clients learn about addiction, family systems, defense mechanisms against “triggers”, 12-Step recovery models, and relapse prevention strategies. Group therapy is an essential component of the addiction recovery process; at La Via clients receive the guidance of caring professionals throughout the IOP process. You will receive the care and guidance of the finest professionals – that communicate with you throughout your intensive outpatient drug or alcohol treatment program. This assessment provides an accurate diagnosis of the patient’s current condition and becomes the foundation for a holistic treatment plan and determining progress during treatment. Input from loved ones as well as the patient’s history and perception of their condition are essential and valued. Any co-existing disorders or pertaining to medical issues are also evaluated at this time. Support from the patient and loved ones or family members (if applicable) is an integral part of the plan. Throughout treatment, the primary counselor and supervisory staff provide support to both the family and individuals. During orientation, each La Via client is provided with the session schedule and assigned a counselor, who is their primary advocate throughout IOP. In addition to facilitating group discussions, counselors are available to discuss concerns and progress throughout treatment.
