Miguel graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 2004, obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Environmental Studies. He then worked for a large multi-disciplinary firm for several years.  Here he was able to tune his skills while working on a variety of projects both locally and abroad.  Some of the projects he worked on included residential, commercial, passive and active parks, school board, FDOT, community developments, mitigation, irrigation, urban design, planning, site layouts and streetscapes.  The experience gave him an understanding on creating spaces which is a key focus of Miguel’s residential design. Welcome to Juncal Design Studio, LLC JDS provides elegant functional landscape designs that are specifically tailored for the residences of South Florida. The JDS approach blends the human environment with nature through the use of solid design principles and a diverse palette consisting of various trees, plants and landscape elements.  At JDS, landscapes are designed using these elements harmoniously to create lush spaces that provide a tantalizing experience while exceeding client expectations.
