Having lived and worked in the "Silicon Valley" for over 40 years and having bought and sold several area properties, I've always had a keen interest in the valley's real estate phenomena. After a successful management career in a major Silicon Valley high-tech company, I decided I could add value to the real estate business by bringing a truly professional approach based on meticulous business ethics and outstanding customer service. I strive to inject these elements of professionalism into all facets of my business and my primary focus is to exceed my customers' expectations in every way. I've spent sixteen years developing my unique approach to real estate professionalism resulting in hundreds of highly-satisfied customers. As a full-time, professional Broker and Realtor, I have extensive experience representing buyers, sellers and investors in the highly competitive and dynamic Silicon Valley real estate market. My professional approach is based on skills developed over 25 years in high technology project and personnel management. Personal attributes like responsibility and accountability and specific professional skills like marketing, interpersonal management, negotiation, problem solving and project planning distinguished my management career and now define my approach to the real estate profession. My formal education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science degree from Stanford University. I've also completed several Santa Clara University-taught management institutes and company-proprietary leadership institutes. Whether working with first time buyers or luxury home sellers, customer satisfaction is my highest priority. Sometimes its the small things like always returning phone calls within minutes, or offering personal advice on how to best prepare a client's home for showing. At other times it may be suggesting creative financing options, coordinating and overseeing a range of property inspections or successfully negotiating a contract dispute that threatens to undermine the transaction. Married with three children, I reside in San Jose's East Hills or San Jose Country Club area. I have one married daughter as well as identical twin boys who recently received degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. My wife and I enjoy traveling, restoring our circa 1929 Mission Revival style home, walking in the hills and enjoying the great restaurants, museums and cultural activities of the Bay Area.
